Most overrated sequel of them all.
This one lacked EVERYTHING that the first one had.
1. Good atmosphere
2. Good drama
3. Good characters
4. Good score
5. Good acting
The atmosphere in Apocalypse felt way too off for me. And why all the fcking ACTION SERIOUSLY??

shareThis is the worst movie in the series, easily. Afterlife/Retribution suffer from gimmicky 3D effects, but this movie was just purely cheesy, full of holes, inconsistencies, and was simply uninteresting.
It also suffered heavily from being a product of the early 2000's.
The first movie at least tried to take itself somewhat seriously. This? Was a joke. I've always liked the RE Franchise, but this this movie is hard to watch.
... and that's after just watching it again tonight. I fell asleep once. Rewind. Almost just turned it off and went to #3, which was a much better movie.
Afterlife was way worse that felt like sci channel movie quality. At least the first 3 are ok
shareI feel like this movie gets worse ever ytime I watch it. Other than Jill Valentine's look, I can't think of anything I like about it. Just changed my IMDB rating to a 3.
