I thought with the exception of Paris Hilton the acting was good. I guess maybe the director thought her name would bring the film some recognition, but she can't act to save her life.

sharenot sure how much recognition she would have brought in 2002 when the movie was made--Simple Life didn't air until 2005, and before that, Paris wasn't exactly a 'celebrity' yet.

Exactly. She was no where near the big name that she was when The Simple Life began airing. I'm pretty sure they brought this movie to DVD after she became a bigger name and plopped her on the front cover even though she dies first. I personally didn't think the film was that bad and Paris herself was just fine for a B-horror movie.
