Is this the Better of the Direct-to-DVD Sequels?

What is your opinion?

I know some people says this is bad because "it ruins the magic" or the plot.
I must say i understand what they mean, but I really like this movie. Disney is known for making sequels that only come to DVD, most of the time, the sequels are horrible. This one I thought was jokey and fun for fans of the original Lion King because it pokes fun at many elements of the original story and tells about stuff not in the original story.

This is also not a movie too take too seriously. The begining shows this since it starts out with Timon and Pumbaa about to watch the Lion King in a siloutte commentary-esque style before continuing to the "story within the story." Many jokes are evidence you shouldn't take it seriously (especially the ending!). Even the bonus features such as "Timon: Behind the Ledgend," "Who Wants to be King of the Jungle?," and the virtual safari 1.5 show this.

I think this movie is pretty funny. I think it's better than most Disney Direct-to-DVD movies. What do you think? If you don't agree, what are some of your favorite?

Hell yes this movie is probably THE best Disney D2DVD sequels... (not counting regular Disney sequels like Toy Story 2).

The songs make up for everything. Plus, it's FUNNY.

Well since it in some places contradicts the original movie, that would never have happened. Besides, it lacks the epic proportion of the first.

I love this movie. In my opinion, this is one of the best Direct to DVD-films from Disney, if not the best one. I really like its irreverent and ironic tone. Its fun, light and entertaining. This movie was way better than I expected it to be.
