Amarte Duele + Breathless comparison

Ok, i just saw Breathless (the 1983 remake) and i think the story is quite similar. One of the similarities are that both main male characters are fans of a comic book and that the story in the comic book strongly relates to what is happening in their lives. One of the differences is that this movie is not only centered in one character, while breathless centers only on Richard Gere's character as the main one.
Even the endings are similar. No spoilers, but if you watch them both you'll know what i mean. Both love interests are encountered while having fun in a relaxed setting as well. This could have borrowed a lot from that film, not that is a bad thing, but its funny to see similarities on the story of various films.
