Both are appropriate. It's a sort of word game.
Guys please could you explain to me that word game? Cause to my language all the translators translate it in the same way- no matter if it's amar te or amarte. Is it something like "Pain, I love you" or "I love you painfully"? I only know Spanish from movies and songs.
