shareI thought it was pretty cute and clever. By no means the greatest film of the year, but Kate Hudson is remarkably easy to watch in whatever she's in, regardless of the material she's handed (like the abysmal The Four Feathers).

At the beginning, I thought this was going to be a walk-out-of movie, but by the end it had redeemed itself. I liked the interaction between Alex and Emma; they were pretty cute together. Sophie Marceau was good too.

The movie is a remake of an Audrey Hepurn and William Holden film. From Roman Holyday to Charare I like all of them with the exception of this one. In my opinion Alex & Emma is not that great film, it´s cute but much better than the original version.

shareDepends what kind of movie you want to see or your expectations. I was (as a man who also likes a chick movie so now and then) sure this movie wasn't fast, didn't have stunning actions and so on in it, but just an interesting plot and some sweetness to it.
I was afraid that a movie about a writer would be boring in the sense that he reads out text into the camera.. Happily they didn't do it too often and when they did it was not too long.
If you have your mind set to a sweet but slow misty romance movie, this movie is for sure entertaining. I also think hudson's cute smile and eyes and the sweet dreamy score do most of the job in this movie.
i'm watching it right now on HBO. i missed the beginning and i won't be able to stay up late enough to see the end, but i'm really enjoying it. there's great dialgue and i love the interaction between hudson and wilson. i've enjoyed them both in other movies. i'm gonna have to get the DVD.

shareI really liked this movie. I thought it was interesting and cute and the acting was very good. Kate Hudson is very easy to watch and she really made me feel for the character. Luke Wilson played the part very well and both of their performances made for a very enjoyable and entertaining movie. I liked the twist of the story being told not only from reality but also from Adam's dictation. Kate Hudson made me laugh with every character she played. I just really enjoyed watching this movie, and for all of you who didn't like this movie, I am sorry because you really missed out.

share I have to say, I really liked it as well. I missed the ending because I had to go somewhere because I'd been watching it on Oxygen, but I really liked it. The Emma-Alex were all so priceless, and I loved Luke Wilson's sarcasm, kind of like his character in That 70's Show, only a bit nicer. I really enjoyed this movie, and I'd gladly see it again.

All the actors were so beautiful, and the movie itself very enjoyable.
