terrible interruptions

What made this movie so bad for me was that every time the story that was being dictated got interesting on the screen, it was interrupted by Emma's inane, boring comments, followed by minutes of Alex's boring arguing with her. This was just bad screen writing--these interludes were not funny or enlightening in the least--the dictated story was far more fun, but we weren't allowed to enjoy it.

In other words you wanted an entirely different movie. If Alex and Emma didn't have discussions or arguments during his dictation, his dictated story would've played out within a very short amount of time. What we saw was all there was to his story. The main point of his dictated story within this movie was so Alex and Emma could get to know each other.

Mag, Darling, you're being a bore.
