The ''stop the assassination'' story

You noticed that all three versions of "TZ" had a story where someone travels back in time and attempts to thwart the assassination of a famous person? In the original series episode "Back There", Russell Johnson finds himself in Washington, D.C. on the night of Abraham Lincoln's murder. In the Eighties ep "Profile in Silver", Lane Smith is a time traveler and descendant of John F. Kennedy who goes to that fateful day in Dallas. In the '02 episode "Memphis", Eriq LaSalle somehow finds himself in Memphis in April of 1968. I wonder if they revive the show in the Twenties, will someone try to save Anwar Sadat or Yitzhak Rabin.

I don't know if that would resonate enough with Americans, I could see them maybe trying to stop 9/11 though that would take some balls.

or maybe not lol http://www.WorldofBong.com

I would not have attempted to stop Lincoln's assassination - I would have helped the assassin. Better still, I would have gone back to 1860 or before and killed Lincoln myself. The man was evil, and responsible for millions of deaths.

“Willoughby, sir? That’s Willoughby right outside. It’s July. It’s summer. It’s 1888.”

Sometimes, assassinated people accomplish more as martyrs.
