Is that because one season only lasts half a year?

Isn't this the longest running Danish tv-series ever, by the way?

Most regular tv-shows in Denmark have a spring season and a fall season, and Troldspejlet's 40th season has just begun this fall.

Troldspejlet is the second longest. The longest running title in Denmark is "TV-Avisen" (1965).

lol, TV-Avisen er sguda ikke en tv-serie.. but okay, if you want to call it that, then it's probably the longest.. (In my mind though, Troldspejlet owns ;)
