So was Chandra's girlfriend a full on Artificial life or was she an actual person that was duplicated? The answer to this question could prove pivotal to a lot of situations. Did anyone ever say it the episode?

As far as I remember, the only proof we have that she was his actual girlfriend was her word. What we know is that she was a sentient, was looking for Chandra, and knew a lot about him. Personally I don't think she was a duplicated person. I don't think the sentients like the aliens in Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
shareThe reason for the question was, if she was a duplicate that everyone knew and was fooled by, then you might run into problems such as telling Taggarts wife you are from the future. It throws a whole other who can you trust element in there even more so than you have. Especially if you can't be sure who your talking to is actually who you are talking to.
