Buckaroo..hmmm, that was the one with Lithgow and Goldblum right? Man haven't thought about that one in 20 years. As I recall I didn't like it very much but can't remember why.

I think that gag was older than Buckaroo Banzai. I seem to remember one of The Monkees delivering that, "Wherever you go, there you are," line to The Man in at least one of their silly action sequences. I definitely got the impression that it was far from original then, and that was from the 1960s.
