Did this show just end and leave you hanging or did it have a sense of closure? I want to watch this show when it hits dvd, but I am not sure if its just another one of those shows that never gets resolved like Nowhere Man or The Pretender.
shareOdyssey 5 is most definitely worth watching, even though it does never get fully resolved. If you want any sense of closure, stop watching it 5 minutes before the end of the last ep and it's not so bad.
I'd still recommend watching it though, because it is definitely the best sci-fi I've ever seen.

Nowhere man was kind of wrapped actually in episode 25. They knew it was axed before writing the last ep so could do a sort pf wrap up.
Odyessy 5 had completed all 20 by the time the axe fell so no wrap up
Definately the best new Sci Fi series in recent TV, next to Stargate.
Odyssey 5 is a thinking persons Sci Fi with some thought provoking stories, funny lines, awesome characters and lots of bad language and some nudity!
It's 100 million times better than STargate, but they aren't even in the same type of sci-fi. Stargate is stupid fun sci-fi, which is good, not saying it's bad. O5 is dark and serious and smart.

shareMajor plot twist in the last episode, which would have taken the series in a new direction. Absolutely nothing is resolved. Three characters are left in extremely indeterminate situations, and the Earth is still on course to kaboom.
I sure wish Manny Coto would commission a series of novels (or better yet, graphic novels) to finish off the story. It's too late to complete it on TV, obviously.
I went and bought O5 on dvd and watched it in 2 days. What an incredible show with awesome acting and a fantastic story by Manny Cotto. I only wish he had a chance to complete it. So many unaswered questions and storylines left unfinished!! Very frustrating that such an excellent show would get canceled while all this reality crap just keeps going and going and going....you get the idea! Peter Weller was what originally drew me to check it out, he's such an awesome actor, but the story itself kept me intrigued up until the end! I also fell in love with Sebastian Roche (sp?) all over again. I first saw him in Roar with Heathe Ledger.
