Netflix is to cancelled shows what youtube is to vintage music albums

Caught the pilot on netflix knowing only one season is available, so decided to take imdb for a look and alas, another apparently good show, canceled. Im still trying to recover from Jericho and now this. I hope the reality tv, vampires and werewolves stuff fades away already. We need good sci-fi back. I hope Avengers success helps into this, but specially, Prometheus, so studios start to pour money into sci-fi movies thar carrie a story and character development flicks. Transformers is just fireworks and we dont need anymore of that.
