They used this show to replace Invader Zim in which my life as a teenage robot was a total rip off of the artistic style and direction of invader zim as well as some of the more dark themes. In one episode she turned into a giant robotic spider, a complete rip off of an invader zim reference.

There were many more times where my life as a teenage robot was a complete rip off of invader zim, adding to the insult that it replaced the show on nick after invader zim got cancelled.
