Jenna Elfman

Am I the only one who was INCREDIBLY pissed off by her in this movie?!

reply

Yes.

reply

Well i only caught the last 15 minutes and she annoyed me then! She looks really old in this movie!

reply

Eh, She is a bit too serious and doesn't really do anything in the movie.
But damn she's got some nice legs!

reply

I'm pissed off by her in general.

reply

I kept thinking that she sounded like someone else in this movie, so I shut my eyes and just listened. She sounded exactly like Jamie Lee Curtis.

"Are you thinkin what I'm thinkin?"
"I hope not, cause I'm thinkin how much my balls hurt."

reply

It appears she's an even bigger jerk that most Scientologists, for one thing.

And that's hard.

If she'd made as much money for Hollywood as Cruise or Travolta *before* she shot off her mouth, she might still be working more.

I didn't know who she was at first & then found out she'd been on Dharma & Gregg (which I had never watched). I felt she was not a good actress in this role, as I could often tell when she was "acting" & and I also thought many of her attempts at being funny didn't work.

reply

Pissed off? How did Jenna Elfman piss you off?

reply

Had you seen Dharma and Greg you'd understand that, since Lucille Ball has passed away, she may be the only inherently hilarious human female qualified to work with "toons" and be beautiful simultaneously.

She's trying the more dramatic track - and I feel robbed. All the more reason to destroy the Earth's obstruction of my view of Venus with Eludium Pu-36.

reply

Old? Old? Are you kidding. She looked very fresh.

But if you want to see her do a great job in a really hilarious movie see her in Krippendorf's Tribe. She was younger but just as tasty. nice ta ta's. I am not a Richard Dryfuss fan at all, but he did a great job in this film with her.

Hideous on all counts.

Scientologist brainwashed.

Evidence: No discernible talent.

Verdict: grotesque

Yeah, to be honest, Elfman really wasn't a good choice for the role. Her scenes where she was annoyed at Bugs, Daffy, or DJ were okay at best, but her attempts at being funny really fell flat. Originally, her character was supposed to have been quite a bit more zany, as shown in the deleted scenes section on the DVD, and she's actually a bit embarassing to watch in those scenes. I felt the film makers were wise to delete those. Nothing against Elfman herself, but I think they should've got somebody funnier for the role.
