The idea of Time Wave in this movie is very refreshing although I m not pretty sure how original it is. I hope there would be some movies that could elaborate this idea further.

The concept of a time wave (or fog) was used in the movie, "The Final Countdown" when the battleship entered a time warp and left and returned back to their time period.

It was a tad corny (not that I mind really it was still an entertaining movie) that the "time wave" looked like the ghost image of an OCEAN WAVE.
