What's with the ending?

***Spoilers***

What's with the ending? I'm assuming it wasn't in the original version, but I don't get why the girl all of a sudden becomes a psycho killer herself (with bleeding teeth as well) and takes out the poor old woman...

What gives? Who wrote that (i'm assuming that was from the reshoots not done by the original director)? and what is it supposed to mean?

reply

buddy ive watched this movie myself and me and my friends had a few theories lol

1)maybe she thinks that the old lady is one of the inbred guys (maybe she actually is?)

2)maybe she was infected with something when she got scratched by the inbred guy

3)Maybe she went nuts from the things she saw

4)maybe she was one of them to begin with? (never fit in with the other kids)

all in all this movie was rediculous but is still a must see, the pointless intestines through the ass part is classic

reply

yeah this movie was enjoyable but quite pathetic ahaha. I was really confused with the ending and i thought the same things as you did Ben.

Although i THINK she had a mix of going a bit crazy and thinking that old lady was one of the inbreders...i thought she was when i first saw her haha

reply

"maybe she was one of them to begin with? (never fit in with the other kids)"

That would be a good tribute to Sleepaway Camp.

reply

actually it states in the movie "those that escape them are cursed to join them" the chick escaped, there fore she became one of them inbred things

reply

it was stupid. i just firgure that they kept pointing out what happens in horror movies that the end was to be diffrent then the other horror movies.

but you know when a movie is full of porn stars that act better then the other actors your in for a bad movie.

i thought the inbread people looked like sea monsters myself. and why does the box say they go into a copper mine when it was a castle?
when the people who write the plot dont even watch the movie is saying something.

reply

Wild surmise - but Sawney Beane and clan were captured and executed (really thoroughly executed - as they liked to do at that time and place) as noted in one of the things written at this site. So, would assume that area is cursed and new Beanes sprout from people visiting area and take places of the original Beanes. Not that I give a hill of Beanes - since the film was (supposedly)in Ireland though putting it in Scotland would have been correct (and avoided the haggis line error). Actually, Jenna and Ginger Lynn are not bad actors. G.L. has been in several minor non porn films that were ok and Jenna - in the limited data I have - seems to take the non-porn parts of her films seriously.

In the movie the teacher tells the students that the im-breeders were caught and put to death by the king...but you figure, they had all those kids? there must have been some escapees...and the fact that they are living in a castle makes you think they got revenge and took over.

reply

wait, when does it say "those that escape them are cursed to join them"? i totally missed it. that would explain the seemingly random ending...

reply

I do not remember that line. And if that is so why wasnt the mutant woman one of them?
She had to have escaped also and she was being kind and was not one of them.

NO DAY BUT TODAY! - From Broadway Play "RENT"

reply

The ending didn't make any sense. Someone probably got Writer's Block and just came up with anything they thought would be scary.

reply

It's a REALLY stupid plot twist.

I know, who would have thunk it, after all the other plot twists that were REALLY stupid?

Here's the deal, when Gary warns them all, he says, "If you die, don't come back for my soul." The hint here is that not only do people do wacky hijinks like incest and eating each other on Samhain, they also can possess each other's soul.

So, the *SHOCKING PLOT TWIST* is that once all the others are dead, they come back for the one person who escaped. And they swallow her soul.

Sweet merciful crap. I can't believe I watched this movie, it was so bad, and now I'm talking about it.

reply

Although there are several explanations presented here that make sense. I had another thought. What if the whole movie is Shae's delusion, and she actually killed everyone? That would explain the bloody teeth as well.

reply

They may make some kind of random "sense" in whatever bizarre world you choose to believe, you could say that about ANYTHING that happens.

It doesn't make a shred of sense. The whole idea of them being mutated was because of the inbreeding, there was no real supernatural element to the movie at all, not that couldn't be explained apart from this. This is like vampire or werewolf territory, but there was none of that alluded to in the movie.

What a bs ending, the worst I have *EVER* seen in a movie. It was meant to be the *SHOCKING PLOT TWIST* like the guy above said... but what an absolute joke.

Are we meant to be like: "zomg!!! look what happened!! WOWOWWOWOW I don't know why that happened, I better make up some half lunatic theory about it". What a piece of crap movie this is, especially the ending.

reply

My guess is that since 'Breeder' is the last person given in the credits, the old woman is the breeder. Perhaps the giant gaping holes in the plot, if shown, would have shined some light on this though.

reply

The Breeder was the woman chained up who gave birth to the stillborn mutant. The Woman at the end is apparently uncredited.

reply

The woman at the end says that Shae was the only one to get out alive, therefore she knew all these killings were happening and did nothing to stop them. If she had then everyone would still be alive and that's why Shae killed her. That's the way I saw it anyways.

reply

The infant wasn't stillborn. It was making noises.
