Capturing the Friedmans was a far more engaging documentary and was more deserving of the Oscar in 2004.

Disagree strongly. McNamara was brutally honest and self-deprecating. I've read his eleven lessons a couple times now and applied them to my professional life, with some success. For history buffs, it's another treatise on how Vietnam happened though we knew it was wrong. After watching the Dick Cheney documentary I tried to imagine him admitting mistakes later in life...

pedophiles are more interesting to you then Robert S. McNamara.

Aside from that this documentary maker was open-minded ,the documentary maker that you prefer openly defends the pedophiles in that documentary you are talking about.
