Have you watched it? I love this film! I've watched it 5 times by now and I found this film sweet and great in each and every time.

reply

reply

i think this movie won't get a wide release in the u.s., it'll only play in a few cities. where do you live?

reply

reply

I live in Israel so we had this film in the begining... About a year ago I think. I saw it once in the theater, then once again with my class (filming class... we also met the director) and 3 times on the DVD...

i saw this movie on TV here last night, I was flixcking and probably missed the first 10-15mins of it. It was absolutley brillant. Funny and touching I lovede Maya and Bahl.

well--This has been out for over a year now in the states and I am still the only person I know that has seen it. *Sigh* tis sad, I know. People just refuse to watch good films when they're right in front of them and watch crap like "Hide and Seek" like it's going out of style....

reply

Brillian film. Touching, great story and acting. Bravo Israel!

reply

I saw this movie when it came out in the International Film Festivel in the states. It was such an amazing movie.

It's availiable in the UK (region 2) on dvd quite widely, i got it in HMV after reading countless blurbs as i do, foreign cinema freak that i am, it was £6 and is on Amazon.co.uk for £5.50 or something similar and it's on Amazon.com (region 1) for $27, which is a bit steep but entirely worth it for this amazing film :) Region 4 is avaliable on www.ezydvd.com.au (Australia's largest dvd store, according to it's site) for $15 australian (and has a nicer cover than the UK's version i must say)

i couldn't find the other regions i'm afraid :(

reply

I saw it because I have the World Movies channel.

It came up, I watched, I loved.

reply

And I saw it even though I don't have any World Movies channels. Great movie, indeed.

I rented the DVD. Not the best movie ever but it was refreshing to see finally another movie settled in the middle-east that is not about wars, religious conflicts, etc.

Broken wings is recommended for fans of well-crafted melodramas.
