Ending?

I saw this movie as of last night on the Sundance channel and it still is confusing. It was very amateurish.

They didn't go to the mother's wedding nor her wedding meal. Instead her daughter and her lesbian lover make passionate love in their own apartment while she suffers.

Speaking of the sex scenes,it sucks. They could have added more to it instead of just having the movie drag on and on throughout. Disappointment. Could have did better as a Chinese porno flick featuring "real" Asian lesbians that know their stuff. Fish and Elephant was not that good. I heard there is a sequel to this too. I hope that it is WAY better than the original.

But it was the first Chinese lesbian film, no?
