goyim is Hebrew not Yiddish right???



I always remember the word Goy (nation right??) being part of the regular Hebrew voab I learned and then obviously

I heard a couple people mentioning it as Yiddish... lol am I that bad with Hebrew now???

BTW I don't know ANY Yiddish I mean couple terms but never studied Yiddish at all

It is Hebrew.

Goy (Hebrew, regular plural goyim; in Western languages) is a transliterated Hebrew word which translates as "nation" or "people". Historically and up to modern times it is a synonym for Gentile or non-Jew.
