I have about 25 cars all over 1000 Hp

The best ones have to be the Toyota Gt-one and Audi 2001.

This is by far the best video game that has ever been invented.

Has anyone noticed how the BHP drops? Obviously you have to change the oil regularly but there is a slow and permenant loss of HP too. I made a note of a few of my cars max HP with fresh oil and after running a couple in a bunch of endurance races the HP levels are lower even after changing oil. I've got a new Nissan R92 as well as the black 2nd hand one, when both are set up identically the black one has around 60 HP less, it must be cus it already had 30,000 (or something) miles on the clock. Yet another detail that helps make this the most realistic driving game ever!

Besides the Le Mans race-cars. The Dodge Viper SRT-10 can be cranked up to 1090 horsepower. And i drove that thing up to 285 MPH!! The viper, in my opinion is the most powerful car in the game.

In GT3 the Suzuki Escudo pikes peak rallycar had 950++ horsepower completely untuned. But a stage 4 turbo kit could be purchased and boosts the HP to 1800. I went 300 MPH, i really did...

I think the most powerful car is the Toyota minolta 88v.
I have completed all the driving missions and won the nissan race car.
If your serious about the game go buy the strategy guide, it really helps!!!!!!!!!

My Toyota Minolta Car has 1230HP

Then My Chapparel 2J, with 1200HP

and then my Pescarolo C60 PS2 with 1082HP (I lost about 80HP or somthing on the Nurb 24hr

Answer to the HP drop question.
This game does not have the feature of engine repair or engine clean-up, thus, not allowing for Race Car engines to be properly taken care of. If not taken care of, the engines start to develop a buildup of dirt and oils and engine stuff, and that is one reason that a Le Mans 24 hour car can only be used one in real life. I had to change my Audi R8 like 7 or 8 times now, and I am still at 98% in the game, I cant do Mission 34! And not the Formula GT Championship either.

I'm sure these are all old posts...especially since I forgot all of the buttons on the controller for this game...but when it comes to tuning cars for this game I do quite well...My fastest quarter mile time is a 7.9 (8.0 with a stock/street car) - those were with my escudo and my subaru and my audi, in fact to get in my top ten you need faster than a 8.7 and all of the cars on my top ten are different - my highest top speed is 355 with toyota race car............oooone more thing...............gents, horsepower is not everything - a perfect example of this is is the performance found in the Lancer Evolution, mines tuned to about 560hp but the way I have it tuned it WIPES out everything but the race cars....many of the cars that can be tuned to 1000+ hp have handling that is less than satisfactory.....and since I am just blabbing away I might as well advertise for my site, this would be a good place to do so after all - The Online Virtual Car Show, it's one of a kind and cooooompletely free.....I only want you to send in your pictures....I have many visitors but not one person has sent me their pictures thus far......PLEASE send them in....show off that ride you spent all that time on!! for some reason my fastest car is my Ford GT it goes 240 and has like 798 hp but i hve many other cars that got more hp but go slower like for ex my jaguar has like 1112hp but only goes like 230 wats with that

i just used normal stuff for my merc....

i discovered a hidden feature to get it though

ppl said that you dont get lambos or any other supercars that everyone wanted but...theres a catch ..you do get them...as the hidden feature with other faster parts for your car better engines and stuff

To the guy with the Ford GT and the Jag, the reason ur 1112HP Jag only goes to 230mph or kmh is probably cause your gear setting is too short. Before a race, choose the red toolbox, go to transmission, choose the spanner, and put it to 25 in auto setting.

The Toyota Minolta is probably the fastest... i tuned mine up to 1128 HP and it tops out at 560km/h or 350mph!!
