I need to find the fastest car before 1970 to enter the classic races. Any suggestions??

I know in the European Classic Car league I used the Mercedes 300SL and I smoked everyone and it was stock

I have an 1960 something E-type. Its red and it owns - i tuned it a bit, (430hp) and now, if you drive it, you can be at the top of fourth gear, still spinning the tires, but if you but TSC and ASC on it, it is really good. I owned in that Nuruburung 25 lap race, 23 laps done by me.

Ugh, the Charger is so lazy around corners. Great looking/sounding muscle car, though.

well in real life it's not even close im going with either...

-1967-68 Shelby GT500KR
-Shelby Cobra 427SC (early to mid-ish 1960's)

to me these are the cream of the crop not only in performance but in 'looks' to.
