FINALLY got my damn 100%!!!

No point to this, but just really super-de-duper happy that I FINALLY got 100% on this damn game!

1st time - Couldn't get past the boss in Thunder Plains (Chapter 4) - seriously underleveled, playing without a walkthrough

2nd time - Ended with 99% - following a walkthrough but somehow in chapter 4 (again), the numbers got screwed up (commspheres probably)

3rd time (with New Game Plus) - STILL ended up with 99% because I did NOT know to switch allegiances this way...

many many MANY months later...

4th time - 100% - and I'll tell you, the multiple walkthroughs on gamefaqs were helpful, but none of them - I repeat NONE of them truly helped me enough - one walkthrough told things out of order, another one had you battle things in a bizarre order - and they were all absolutely terrible in their ways of defeating Trema (Via Infinito took me three days thanks to trying to Oversoul everything... but I DID!!! - neat trick I taught myself!)

So... I know the game is old and I know that most people don't come on here - but if you're stuck on something - ask away - maybe I can help?

P.S. - Can't wait to start a New Game Plus to get the items I couldn't get the first time out... especially looking forward to attacking LaBlanc with a kennel of puppies (Yuna's Trainer DSP) with the Invincible accessory... - or just beat her the hell up with a chocobo LOL

any tips on beating trema theres no section for him in the walkthrough from brady games

i got my 100% the first time using a walkthrough every time.

This is a few months old but if you still need help I'll give you this advice:

Lady Luck and Catnip. Some say Gunner and Catnip, but with Lady Luck if you can use Four dice and try and roll into the 20's, that will take down Trema. I believe 21 is good enough to kill him. Just remember that Catnip can be your best friend in this game. lol.

Without Catnip I would say use the Mascot Dressphere, but if you didn't get Episode Complete in all of the areas then you won't be able to get it. If you don't have Catnip or the Mascot Dressphere I really can't give you any advice. Trema is one tough SOB and I don't know how to kill him any other way.

I have had this game since it first came out and I will be honest, I always only got up to about 95% without walk throughs. I have played this game so many times never really getting bored or truly striving for a until about oh 7 months ago I finally got a 100%

Its' kinda bittersweet in a way since I've been playing the game for so long and now it is finally done.

I have a problem with one monster who uses stone glare or whatever it is all three of them has ribbon how do you bring them back from that? and catnip? what does it do? nothing for me..... I put it on Rikku because of her mascot dressphere; and that King Tonberry oh my hes tough too:(

It wasn't even so much as that, it's just now that there is no point to even picking up the game anymore! Which to me is just so weird since whenever I got really bored of the games I was playing, I would just pop that one in!

for some reason i'm stuck on 96%. i got Episode Completes on Mt Gagazet and Bikanel island since then and did all those scenes with Cid on the Celcius but it's still stuck on 96%. any help?

There's something about flying a kite at night that's so unwholesome

You're probably missing some % in the tedious commspheres. God I hated those things.
