HELP!!!!!

Can someone please help me figure out how to beat the monster that uses stone glaze or whatever it is:/ hes the one in Bevelle (Chac) thats what hes called. all three of them have ribbon don't understand..... Safety bit doesn't help either. Also the Mega Tonberry too what a pain.
