Theories....

So what are some of your theories on what the writers had planned for the "long haul" of the show? Was Joel really zapped back in time or was it all just a dream and he'll wake up in the OR?

- Personally I'd like to believe that the zap to the head did indeed send Joel back in time, and that any changes he made are affecting his future for better or worse.

- One thing that seems evident, at least to me, is that the writers were planning on Joel and Isabel realizing that they are the ones each other is looking for all along.

- Eventually (Maybe Season 2) Joel would start to work on helping keep Cherile from going down the path she's even at this point in her life on, there's very breif moments here and there of him attempting to help her, but for the most part he seems to focus primarily on his parents' relationship.

I wonder how long the writers anticipated the show lasting? Obviously it would not go all the way until Joel catches up to 2002 again, but it I could see it going for 3 seasons at least.

I know how alot of you feel, I really got into the show, and the characters. I saw a bit of my life in it. Even though I wasn't a teen in the 80s, I love 80s pop culture.
