It has great acting, story, characters etc. the only thing I've seen people complain about was the violence. If that's the case you should just stay away from R rated movies if you can't handle them. So don't say that it was a bad movie because you were bothered by the violence, that's just bias. It's every bit deserving of its rating because its a damn good movie
shareI think it's a great movie and by no means overrated. However, you can't expect everyone to like every "acclaimed" movie as much as everyone else does, can you?
shareit wasn't that violent i love the movie and it was great and they had to put violent in it because it's about slums in brazil and they have to stay true to what's happening in there
shareBecause they think it's rated over what it is... Overrated doesn't mean bad. Something could be the best movie in history and still be overrated as long as people RATE it OVER what it is.
