<THIS POST CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS!>
Right after the final gang shootout, Rocket runs from one end of the neighbourhood to the other, and arrives just in time to take the pictures of Li'l Z talking to the corrupt police officers (and getting killed afterwards).
How did Rocket know exactly where to go?
I'm pretty sure this is explained in the film itself, but I may have forgotten and I don't know where to look.

This may be wrong, but I'm going to give it a shot anyways. When they interview Knockout Ned, he says how Lil Ze never gets arrested. Rocket is watching that newscast and I think he realizes that there is some sort of corruption going on. He confirms it when he follows him.
That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it.
Even stranger was the first thing he said was "I have to make something right". Not sure what he was talking about.

If Rocket knew there was corruption going on, how did he know the precise place where Lil Ze meets the cops???!!
Rocket did not follow the police car, he used a shortcut. so he knew the place.
I believe it was actually near The Apartment. I think Rocket headed there. The police went in and took all his money and left him the empty money box to fill again for them.
Rocket grew up in that area and knew it very well. He knew where he could hide and take photos of what was going on without getting caught.
shareI expect he just knew that it was a good place for someone to go to do some shady business and perhaps he knew that it was an area the police used for such dealings.
shareIt was not an area where cops used for shady business, it was on the outside of Ze's Apartment drug base,the police scouted him there so he could catch his jewelry and money to pay his freedom.
shareI assumed Rocket was running to the police station in order to get additional photos of Ze getting out of the police car. Carrot was pulled out of the car and lead away to, what I assume, was a police station.
