What an amazing actor he is! I really liked his portrayal of the tortured artist Jang Seung-up in this movie. He made me laugh a couple of times too. Especially the scene where he tries to do a handstand against the wall.
Just after seeing Oldboy, Failan and Chihwaseon i'm already becoming a huge fan. I can't wait to get my "Happy End" and "Shiri" dvds in the mail.
I know i'm not the only fan. :)

Totally agree, what an amazing talent.
Regarding the handstand, I expect that was his improv, if you watch the DVD of Oldboy there is more of him in the police station at the start, and all of it is improv (and bloody funny).

He was great as usual and The film is superb, there are some Tarkovsky's Andrei Rubylev brillance in it ! Great work ! And it's good to see Min Sik and Son-ye in the same movie !
shareGet Quiet Family and Crying Fist. He's awesome in both. Quiet Family is important as it's an early part before his later fame. Same for the director at the time.
