Just watched Doc Hollywood , again. same story as cars.
1) main Character is cocky
2) get lost or stuck in an out of way place
3) finds love of girl and town
4) the old timer, calls or recommends to get main character out of town
5) comes back to town to stay
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby reminded me of Cars. It came out around the same time.
