Peaceful protest?
He was trying to smash a police land rover and the carabiniers inside with a fire extinguisher when he was shot, it was well documented.
sharewell... while I agree that the protest was not peaceful, to be said is that Carlo had a Fire extinguisher in his hands but there is not real evidence that he was actually throwing anything. The side and rear windows of the car were smashed by other rioters who also threw the named extinguisher against the jeep once.
Carlo picked up the extinguisher from the street and was shot point blank whilst holding it in his hands. Then, the MP's jeep (there was three of them in the car) run over Carlo's body twice once on reversing and the second time going forward. Further, one of the MPs, prior to shooting Carlo, shouted out of the car's window waiving his gun, "I will kill you all you bastards!"
I am guessing that his death was not all that straight forward. None deserves to die like this!!!
