First half was good!

When watching Brocéliande, I knew about the low rating on IMDB and I thought, "why is that? This is a really good, atmospheric, modern mystery movie".

Although the naivity of the leading lady gave me a little irritation, the film made me wonder which way it would go. It got my attention.

Then the second half started, and its fight scenes and growing stupidity of characters made me think I got lost in a Jackie Chan comedy (nothing wrong with Jackie Chan, but a totally different genre). Where did the mystery go? Why did the dreamlike quality of the student investigating strange events change into Girls Fight Club VS Kick-Asz comedy hour?

I tried to re-adjust, and the climax with the girls and the beast had some nice touches. But I'm still looking for part II of that wonderful contemporary mystery movie. Where is it hiding?

"Being lost in a film is totally fine."
