I Just Wish I Understood It
Because it was fun and interesting to watch... But I am soooo lost.
I'm not very computer-savvy, so maybe that's it; I don't know.
Well, to put it in a nutshell, 1.0 versions of software are notorious for being riddled with bugs. In the movie a powerful and corrupt unnamed corporation is testing a method of delivering a "virus like" program that infects the human brain similar to the way a computer virus infects a computer. The corporation wants to control consumption of its products (such as milk or beef or cola). The main themes of the movie are alienation and the triumph of the corporation over the consumer.
Is this the official story? I interpreted it entirely different. Also if going along with your story: what is the meaning of the guy living below the house who in the end takes the main character's brain?
