style showoff (not a film)

simple style showoff (or filters test, some say Adobe is good for this)...
you can film such "style" in any poor country, no actors needed...
by the way, the lack of story can't be called style...
imagination? books are good for imagination...

some interesting things:
1. marketing box - you touch it you buy only those things you are told...
2. brainwashing is good, nanotech is better...

some lame things (or things to do in films):
ventilation shaft so big you can enter home by it?
sex with hot chick...
bad neighbors...
difficult situation in work...
overdrinking, milk in this case :)
old cars (like Volga), but nanotech already version 1.1.5?
one trader who can get everything...
one smart man who knows what's going on, but say nothing until the end...
one somebody who thinks "R U infected?"...
low quality security cameras...
tension adding dog...
Pentium class CPU as mind warp device...
creepy sounds (were better in game "DOOM 1")...
...

Recommendations for similar, but a lot better films:
film with no action, but with superb ending (and idea) - "sixth sense"
super script, acting and tension all the way - "Phoneboot"
unpredictable, full of action, plays same woman? - "The game"
original, realistic, stylish - "Truman show"
heavy watch, warm after - "The jacket"
strange things happen - "butterfly effect"
nothing is clear, you can think as you wish - "Fahrenheit 911"
dark style and "nanotech" - "Blade runner"
...

no nanotech was used to write this.

Style show-off at a total cost of 1.7 million???

Um, no. This was a masterpiece considering the price tag. Even not considering the price, the story was terrific AND innovative. This movie is a gem. Discover it and you'll be thrilled.

The only film better in that list without a doubt is Blade Runner. Nod to Sixth Sense, but the others are quite lame.

I think it's funny that the movies you enlist at the end are often meant to be style without substance (e.g. Butterfly Effect) and yet you rack down on this one for that particular reason? Kind of hypocritical to me. Sure, many of these movies have something to tell, but how well they perform in that regard is often far from great. In that regard, I would actually still put this movie on top of that list. You just didn't get this movie, and that's fine, but don't hate because you didn't get it.
