Why is this DVD so rare?

I have only seen one NTSC copy of this DVD, selling on ebay for almost a hundred dollars. Why is it so scarce?

this was the first ever WWE pay-per-view (since of the WWF to WWE transformation) and i suppose that the WWE didn't make that many copies of the dvd.

For some reason, WWE decided to sell limited copies of this DVD only through their website.

It's out of print now. So if you want a copy and can find one online at a decent price, pick it up while you can.

I actually did, found one for $15. I'm now considering reselling it for the gaudy prices I've seen elsewhere...

It was still in the transition period where DVDs were replacing VHS tapes, so it's much easier to find VHS tapes of this PPV
