Are There Large Dwarfs??? Dwarves???

I saw a guy who was about 5'7" but he looked like a dwarf. The worlds largest dwarf? He had the head and facial features of some dwarfs. The short limbs in relation to his body. Can dwarfs be that large?

What we have here is failure to communicate!
