wow. welcome to underbelly of the IMDB. first of all, this movie was a train wreck. latifah is always a hit and miss actress. most of her movies are agonizingly bad, but she had one or the otger good one. fellon is always terrible, which is way beyond a level where i can say that it is just not my cup of tea. his acting and comedic abilities are liited to say the least and his self written material is one of the worst of his craft.
and since you also seem to be one of those people that seek hidden prejudism, let me quote myself:
in case you wanna throw the poster into the wrong corner, by intentionally misinterpreting a single phrase, let me explain to you that OBVIOUSLY in this case he means music artists like ice cube, queen latifah, sting, prince, bono, EMINEM, captain sensible, rupaul, raab himself, wee man.... etc. OBVIOUSLY his criticism is in the way that they wannna hold onto their stage name, which has worked well in heir original area of work, while making the jump over to a potential acting career, instead of using their real name or at least a plausible OTHER fake name. i support that criticism.
IT IS OBVIOUSLY .... FRIGGIN OBVIOUSLY ... LIKE EVEN A TODDLER WOULD NOTICE IT OBVIOUSLY ... NOT A RACE RELATED STATEMENT.

First, this is a discussion. My post ended in a question mark which could have indicated to the original poster that i sought a clarification of what was meant by "these people". Since only Ice Cube and Queen Latifah were mentioned it was not "friggin obvious" as to what the poster meant.
Second, Ice Cube has had a successful film and television career using his stage name. Many of the other personas you mentioned have also had wildly successful careers in their respective fields. That is accepted in the entertainment industry.
Third, you can take your ALL CAPS and shove them up your a$$.

Well done on 10 minutes. I assume Queen Latifah is a presenter or something in US, because she was not funny in this film.
I only ask for 2 things from comedy remakes.
1. Be funny. This was not.
2. To be better or at least bring something more to the party that was missing from the first film. I am not sure the story line was improved my having a large, overweight taxi driver (how could the car go so fast with her in it?). Fortunately I know nothing of this woman except she cannot act - so I assume she won some talent competition to appear in this film.
