This is one seriously tough cookie to crack. It is my lifelong goal to complete it on this difficulty setting ha ha. I have got to the lift part on the final stage using 5 lives and all continues. But can't get further than that. Anyone else got further? oR does anyone recommend who is the best character for the task?
shareI completed this game on hardest setting, years ago on several occasions. Managed to do it with Axel, Skate and Blaze, but never managed it with Max, he was just too slow.
Funny thing is, I took my old mega-drive/genesis out of the closet a few months ago and now I can't even complete this on easy setting.
Yeah I've done it on Hardest but Mania is ridiculous. I think any characters other than Max are valid options, he's just to slow when you have a bunch of guys on you.
shareI've done it on mania and got a sore of 9999999999,I used Axel and just kept doing the grand upper.
shareI've completed this many times in Hardest as Max with a 9999999999 score (though the version in the PS3 Sega collection seems to be harder for some reason - maybe the Megadrive control pad is easier to use for this sort of game - and you can't get a 9999999999 score in the PS3 version, as it resets itself to zero which is kind of annoying).
