The broom closet scene

When Spider-Man is about to deliver those pizzas to that office he changes to Peter Parker's clothes (spoiler!) in the broom closet and is then experiencing some trouble with closing the closet door. But how did Spider-Man get in there without being noticed by the secretary? What did I miss?

^You could have answered his question without being a prick.

reply

Most broom closets don't have windows or more than one entrance. He could have gotten through a window, but it would be very unlikely.

reply

The closet clearly had no window.

He probably went through an air vent on the side of the building. Frankly I hated the whole delivering pizzas premise in the movie and hate even more that it was a required part of the video game.

Green Goblin is great! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1L4ZuaVvaw

You are an idiot.

And you're a douchebag.

^ At least they get vaginal contact, ya punk.

that scene annoyed me to no end. He's messing with those brooms FOREVER!

Maybe if he stopped goofing with them and just walked up to the secretary he might've got that minute BACK!

Im gonna punch you in the cooter, I swear to God!

reply

Yeah, that was so dumb. Just deliver the dang pizzas and fix the brooms later if he feels such a strong desire to do so.

reply

He wasn't 1 minute late though, he was about 4 minutes late. It was 1:52:55 when Peter was told he had 8 minutes left to get there and it was 2:03:40 when the woman told him he was late. He possibly knew he was late before messing with the brooms and was hoping she wasn't keeping track of the time that closely so leaving the brooms on the floor and running over to the desk in a panic might not have been the best approach either.

Ah yea, that darn broom
closet! I used to have similar questions regarding this scene... to some extent. Fortunately, it was never something that kept me up at night or anything. Heh.

I think this scene is simply meant to be humorous... nothing more or less. Perhaps it can be difficult not to overthink stuff like this and be irked by it, but sometimes it’s best to simply look the other way, if you will. Having said that, an air vent is a good possibility. :)

I also agree with another post that this scene is meant to be humorous, however my technical opinion is speed. In 'Spider-Man' he was able to transfer from his bedroom ceiling to under the ledge outside his open window without being caught.
