train scene is forever my favorite scene

It shows that the citizens that the mask wearing and cape wearing super heroes protect have a moment where they repay their protectors with so much that they can give. Even show that they would never even betray their secrets. Need scenes like this in all comic book films, to show that heroes can be helped by those they protect.

It's is indeed quite an amazing scene.

...Yay!

I liked something else about that scene.

Spidey uses his web to try to stop the train and it doesn't work.

So what does he do?

He does it again, faster, harder, with more conviction, and gets the job done.

Nice lesson for the kids.

He seemed in real danger himself, and in danger of not saving the trainload of people. Unlike most scenes where the superhero saves civilians and it's a forgone conclusion without breaking a sweat. He gave it everything he had, and was exhausted from the effort.

Great scene. For me, it ranks right up there with the Lois Lane/helicopter rescue scene in Superman: The Movie.

It was just outstanding.

I loved that scene on Superman.

It was such a touching and moving scene. Especially the line: "He's just a kid"

reply

Yes, I love it too. Absolutely brilliant.

My absolute favorite scene too. I even think from all the Spider-Man movies.
