There is no such term as "full retard" or "half retard." Those are offensive. The word retard is a verb that means slow. It was never meant to be used as an adjective to describe a person. I realize that you are using it in reference to how someone acted a part, but think how someone might feel if they have a loved one who has an intellectual or some other kind of disability. Also, think how a person with a disability might feel if they happened to read your comments.

Way to completely miss the joke. I guess you haven't seen Tropic Thunder. Too bad, because Robert Downey Jr. was nominated for an academy award for his role in that film and that line was one of the reasons.

And I'm pretty sure the above joke about going 'full retard' was the best thing to come out of Tropic Thunder.

This was the first thing I thought of when i saw 'Radio' was playing on TV. It's true, you should never go full retard, it's the one kind of role no actor will ever master. Loved that scene, lol.
