With all the 1970s R & B hits featured on the soundtrack....

....did it occur to anyone to include one or two songs from The Main Ingredient,
whose lead singer on two of their biggest hits, "Everybody Plays the Fool" and "Just Don't Want to Be Lonely" was Cuba Gooding, Sr.? It might have been a nice
movie in-joke.
