What about "The Wild Bunch", or "The Gunfight at O.K. Corral"? I agree that this is up there with the best, blooker. Phenomenal shoot out.

shareYes, this gunfight in Open Range was a well choreographed scene and one of the best in the genre. I like especially the bit of business where Charlie runs around a back alley to rescue Sue. Costner's westerns score high on my list of all time favorites.
shareWhat I liked about the shooting was the sound...loud, realistic and intense. The sound of the wood splintering and echoing, the pop of the gun fire was just cool....unlike any other western I've seen. First rate action, movie and story.
