Boss Spearman holding his gut

He appears to get shot in the stomach area and never needs any medical attention. Was he shot or did he just have indigestion? Needed some Tums, did he?

I assumed he was grazed or something. A full gut shot would have put him down.

Agreed. He seemed to check it, after he took shelter indoors. He realized he was still good to go.

I can see how being suddenly in the middle of an apocalyptic gun battle could induce a bout of diarrhea. However, I think Boss was just creased by a bullet that didn't penetrate farther than his skin. It probably hurt like hell at first, but once he had a look at the damage and realized it was superficial, he didn't worry about it anymore. All he'd have to do after the melee was over would be to make sure the wound was clean, pour some disinfectant on it, and maybe have a few sutures. A tough geezer like him could just walk it off.
