OPD set for US release

One Perfect Day is to go on general release in the US on February 23 next, opening at 500 theatres across the country. Not too bad for a 'teeth-grindingly awful film', eh?

Not bad at all. But in its defence I'll just say that the movie at least looked ok... some nice set design and locations and cinematography. And how the dude finds music inspiration in nature and accidental sounds, is a potentially brilliant story idea. But it just wasn't a resolved idea before it went to production. The "sounds in nature" concept as the basis for trance music could've been realised so much better. But too much soppy cliche trash which eventually dominates the story, and the whole "music/dance" thing is then sidelined as an awkward filler to tv-drama quality scenes with strangely overly-emotional characters force-fed a rotten script. the writer is a lot to blame for this movie.
