Although woven through the film, the title song One Perfect Day is heard in it's entirety only at the end when - Eurydice-like - the dead Alysse 'returns to life' through the recorded sound of her voice. Melbourne singer Ali McGregor (a soprano with Opera Australia) was heard in the film, but the CD single was recorded by Lydia Denker. Composer David Hobson (Australia's leading tenor) wrote both the song and the film's well-received orchestral score.

dear all viewers and fans of One Perfect Day...
The song at the end send shivers up my spine....
The movie is what the rave scene is trully about and people should not judge the scene until they have experienced it for themselves.
Althought the media does a good job of making it look dangerous and a big drug orgy it is not like that. Yes guys there is drugs at raves....but there is drugs everywhere and it is always a personal choice whether to dive into that side of it.....but there is another side to the rave scene that is often ignored...

That feeling of being completly engulfed by the music and the spine shattering bass and mind blowing lazers that cut through you from every direction...not to mention the feeling of freedom when your favourite song comes on (your shining is mine) and 15 000 people all get up and dance there hearts out...it is a place where you can be completly free and have a good time.and meet people that will stay tru friends of yours for a life time...it really is a indiscribable feeling

Trance is a lifestyle and is the blood running through any tru ravers veins.....

Go out and experience it for your selves...if your not sure where the rave scene is in sydney go to www.echild.info

Don't know if this helps, but that sounds like it's from Moulin Rouge (I saw it today) and I know Nicole Kidman's character says that when she finds out she's *SPOILER* dying.

The song is called Gorecki and is by Lamb. I love that song. I've got the soundtrack to OPD.
