SPOILERS A few questions about narritive structure

SPOILERS TO FOLLOW FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN THE FILM!

First off I LOVE this movie I just wanted to ask if anyone has any answers to this.

Ok,

1. After Hector tried to rape Lys and then she was saved by Noah. Why is she later taken by Hector? Wasn't she just saved? And didn't Hector tell Noah to "get her out of here." It just didnt really flow in the structure y'know?

2. (This is easily answered I just wanted to know what everyone else thought)
When Lys first pushes Hectors arm away from her and goes to escape why does she just shuffle away... wouldn't she be running away ?

3. Why doesn't Tommy administer CPR or something when Lys is dying?
Or why doesn't Trig call the ambulence? Perhaps it was shock but you'd think the first thing you'd do to save a loved one is try to save them.

4. In the end when Trig and Tommy get back at Hector there is a shot of Hector stabbing the 'injection of death' into Lys... when did Trig take this shot? Shouldn't it have SHOWN him taking it.. I know that Trig seldom has his camera turned off but when he walked into the scene as I recall he had a bag full of "Hectors gear" so ... who pulled out their camera in time for the death?

5. Why did Lys stay with Hector after she slept with him if she didn't want to be with him ?

... who else was a bit annoyed with Trig for never actually admitting that he gave Emma the wrong drug?

Other than that I love this movie still.

1. My assumption is that there's a cut scene explaining what actually happened but they wanted to keep the momentum going. Hector is also yelling from the other room "where are my keys?" as if he's going out, though there's also a cut scene where Noah tackles Hector through the glass coffee table in the lounge room. My assumption is that he went to leave, and then changed his mind and decided to kill her instead.

2. She doesn't know what's coming? I really don't know.

3. I always wondered this. mind you, many people don't know CPR, and some others assume that no heartbeat=dead. Again we don't see what happens immediately after this, and cinematically we don't want another hospital scene where she's actually confirmed as dead.

4. if you look in the bottom left corner of that shot, there's a running time stamp, unlike the rest of the footage of Trig's. It's also in black and white (if I remember correctly) and I assume for this reason that it's security camera footage conveniantly pointed in the right direction.

6. As a character, Alysse is a very weak person. I got the impression that she doesn't cope at all well with being alone, not to mention that she's getting the musical break she wanted with Hector. He is also an obviously hurt person who had a sense about him (even before everything went down) that things would go very, very wrong for anyone who hurt, stood up to, or left him. My guess is that she was too scared and weak to, and she didn't have a life to go back to without him, considering that up until the last rave her and Tommy were still on bad terms, so why not stay and make everything easier?

I give Trig credit for actually trying to speak to Alysse about it, but he sort of got thwarted at every turn. He could have tried harder, but from his actions he's not the greatest at communicating whats on his mind (I feel he wa trying too hard to find "the right time" to talk about it he ended up just getting swept up in the situation). By the end of the film, Tommy (the only person other than Alysse who knows Trig who has a connection with Emma) knows that Trig is the resident dealer, and he knows what was in her system (from the autopsy report) and by the end of the film, when Trig gives him the tape I think that everything that needed to be let out was let out and reopening those wounds and letting him know that he was the one who gave Emma the drugs would only make everything worse.
Technically, every person in that film has some kind of blame for Emma's death, and Alysse is the only one who talks about it to anyone. Tommy wasn't there for her when she needed to talk to him, and him hanging up on her was the last straw that lead to her taking the last dose, Alysse took her to the club, got her the drugs, and left her at the hospital, Caroline didn't reach out to Emma and find out more about what was going on in her life, Trig gave Emma the drugs, Noah screwed up the packaging, Hector ran the club she died at and is probably the ultimate drug supplier for the operation.
