Gave Me Nightmares

Damn, but those masks the kids were wearing were...disturbing, to say the least. It really helps make it one of the more interesting PSAs, though.

It's schlocky, its cheesy, it's weird, but this strange little film has probably saved many lives!

I'm in my mid-fifties and I saw it maybe third or fourth grade in the gym, on 16mm. I've probably forgotten half my teachers, 3/4 of my classmates and 95% of the instruction I got, but I still remember the monkeys and all the stupid things they did to get themselves hurt.

Maybe a few times since I remembered it when I was on my bike too.

-shame of it is they can't use it anymore because even the smart kid isn't wearing a helmet!

I'm the same age, but I don't remember seeing it; maybe because I was at a Catholic elementary school. I do remember them showing us Vincent Price's The Pit and the Pendulum.

I thought the masks were creepy as hell, but wonder if kids at the time would have - the plot, etc. were good and would have kept the attention of the kids (as per your post).
