Is there any particular reason why bad reviews of "Victor Vargas" have been rated as "useful," and good reviews have been rated as "not useful" and pushed to the bottom of the list?
Is there a cadre of people somewhere that gets perverse joy out of bombing this movie, or what? What's wrong with it, then, lads? Too deep for y'all?
yes, someone tries to change the opinion of the people who rate this movie and look in the comments sections before rating. it's obvious that the good ratings of the movie and the mostly good board entries mysteriously differ from the "1 out of 10" comments. whoever reads this, don't let yourselves be influenced by trolls and give your honest rating.

its really authentic
and it has its tear jerker moments!
Because the movie is pretty pointless and there's nothing deep to 'get' in any way. Besides, how weight-ist is everyone in the movie? Just because the girl he was shagging was 'fat' everyone in the movie slags her off like the world's coming to an end. She might be a nice person not that any of these shallow, insincere characters would know. So he tries for a 'hot' girl to restore his reputation. How deep. But wait there's more! His sister, living through him a little and with no love in her own life, starts to date a new guy herself! Wow. My life will never be the same again.
shareI think when the movie started out, it was trying to depict the characters as superficial and shallow. But you discover as the movie progresses that there's a lot more to them. You're just describing the beginning scenes.

It is hard for me to like a movie when none of the characters develop and become likeable *from at least one aspect*, or at least learn about their immature prejudgices to some extent. They can start off shallow but they didn't even get better or get to know the person. In 'real life' there are plenty of scum but there are also plenty of people like you and me who wouldn't be so darn judgmental, but yes I'm not even American yet alone from a 'minority ghetto' so maybe they're all shallow and judgmental there, I dunno. I wonder how these same shallow latino characters would react if they saw a 'white guy' so utterly embarrassed about being seen with a Mexican girl... not nicely I'm guessing. Pot. Kettle. Hypocrites. (not you, but Victor etc)

Maybe is a bad movie, as usually many UssA films are, but c'mon...!?!?!
I don't believe in 1's or 10's ratings. Nobody believes. Even when I say 10* is just sentimental s4i7.
