Live Action Series Not Listed?
Why is that? Why should the movie be listed, but not the TV show. Is it because it's a Japanese show or is there some other reason?
Because IMDB isn't perfect when it comes to non-English shows. There's a site called D-addicts that has a drama wiki for Asian dramas - the GTO TV show page is at http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Great_Teacher_Onizuka
I'm sure the actors and other information could be added if someone bothered to add it to IMDB (though the distinction between anime and live-action drama should be made).
